What is  nsd.exe

The process belonging to the executable file nsd.exe is part of IBM’s Lotus Notes. In most cases, the process is called wnsd; while in other instances, the process is referred to as Lotus Notes Debugger. The file’s main function is relatively unclear, but it does appear to be a type of debugging tool for Lotus Notes. Most users mentioned that the when the file nsd.exe appeared on their system, it was later discovered that their Lotus Notes environment was not in good condition anymore. After awhile, error messages started appearing; or CPU utilization peaked at more than 50% of total CPU capacity. The file is digitally-signed and is verified by IBM. General location of the file is in a subfolder of Program Files in drive C. Known sizes for the nsd.exe file are between 3,391,488 bytes and 3,411,968 bytes. If you are not using Lotus Notes, you may safely change the run configuration of the file to disabled mode.
