The process nlsagent.exe is a module from EduIQ.com. The program is not specified, but it is a part of being an EduIQ client. EduIQ is a remote monitoring system wherein the user, or administrator, can monitor all the activity in the network's computers. The primary target market for this software are parents who want to monitor the Internet activity of their children. EduIQ has its main application product, Activity Zilla. It is a free application that users can download and install independently. Upon installation, the administrator can assign computers which they want to monitor. There are multiple settings when viewing. The user can view a single remote screen or view multiple screens on a table view. They can zoom in to a particular screen, and the connected user of each remote computer is displayed. The user administrator can also stop or start actual processes on the remote computers.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. nlsagent.exe. is used by Activity Zilla from EduIQ, If you shut down nlsagent.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop nlsagent.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Activity Zilla from EduIQ, from your system.
