TCP/Daytime Client Program is the service name of the process called nistime-32bit.exe, which is a type of an executable or EXE file, and is technically a component that is bundled within the software NISTIME version 32 - 32-bit Daytime Client, which is developed by Natl. Inst.of Stand.and Tech. The nistime-32bit.exe file is a Windows process, so it works with most or all versions of Microsoft Windows Operating Systems, or Windows OS, which include Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2003, Windows 2000, Windows NT, and Windows ME. Despite the Windows OS that is pre-installed onto the computer, once the nistime-32bit.exe file is added, registered into the Windows registry, stored on a folder location, and automatically run in the background as a service of the program that houses it. So, regardless of the OS, nistime-32bit.exe must continue to run and needs to be remain stored in it, and must be only deleted or terminated if it is causing problems or errors that affect the computer system performance.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. nistime-32bit.exe. is used by NISTIME version 32 - 32-bit Daytime Client, If you shut down nistime-32bit.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start.
