The executable file nhc.exe is the launcher for Notebook Hardware Control and its developer is pBUS 167. The NHC can allow the user to take control of the main hardware compnents of their notebook or laptop computers. One of the main hardware components that can be modified is the CPU (Central Processing Unit). NHC can adjust the CPU's power settings, as it has a power management function. It can also control the CPU's speed. It ca n accomplish this by switching from dynamic switching to custom dynamic switching. Custom dynamic switching can allow the user to have full control over each of the switching steps. The program is not limited to a certain brand, and is compatible with Windows 2000 and its later versions. Other functions are Hard Disk Control and Monitoring, which can monitor, analyze and report issues with hard disk efficiency, and Battery Management.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. nhc.exe. is used by Notebook Hardware Control by Pbus 167, If you shut down nhc.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop nhc.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Notebook Hardware Control by Pbus 167, from your system.
