What is  nerocheck.exe

NeroCheck is a background process installed through the file nerocheck.exe. It serves as a support for Nero CD/DVD software. The process functions as a maintenance tool for the Nero CD/DVD software, in the sense that it looks for other drivers installed on the computer that could be in conflict with the Nero software. After the check up process, a list of conflicting drivers will be generated to let user know what could be causing Nero to malfunction. The file nerocheck.exe does not seem to perform any other tasks. While the file is not CPU-intensive, users still choose to disable the file from launching with the startup process, and prevent it from running in the background, to have more space in the CPU for other more essential processes. Users only enable the file when they find a problem with their Nero software; and then disable it again after the file has checked the system to see where the problem lies.
