Known by the service name NclRSSrv Application, or Serial Media Server, the process called nclrssrv.exe, which is a type of an executable or EXE file, is a component of the software called PC Connectivity Solution, which is developed by Nokia. PC Connectivity Solution is a type of synchronization software that allows a user to connect his or her Nokia mobile phone to the desktop computer, laptop or notebook, and is responsible for the management of data from the phone and/or the PC, with the options to view, transfer or copy files, which include photos, audios, video clips, contacts, calendar and others. As it is bundled within the software product, nclrssrv.exe is definitely an essential process that has to remain stored and actively running in the background. This process must not be deleted or terminated, so it does not disable its function. Also, nclrssrv.exe is a process that is compatible with most versions of Microsoft Windows Operating Systems, like Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows XP, and Windows Vista.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. nclrssrv.exe. is used by PC Connectivity Solution, If you shut down nclrssrv.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop nclrssrv.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is PC Connectivity Solution, from your system.
