The multiscreen.exe process is an executable component file of the MultiScreen application, which is a program designed with a set of functionalities that can allow users of certain Samsung monitors to implement multi-screen features into their systems and configure the supported Samsung monitors and its multi-screen displays. The multiscreen.exe process is specifically deployed as the executable dispatcher file of the MultiScreen software, which means when the multiscreen.exe file is activated, it calls on associated program files, firmware and driver software resources to load the MultiScreen application unto the system. The multiscreen.exe file also references certain modular system components in order to implement the set of MultiScreen software functionalities into the system. The multiscreen.exe process and the MultiScreen software are integrated with compatibility support for widely used versions of Microsoft Windows.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. multiscreen.exe. is used by MultiScreen, If you shut down multiscreen.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop multiscreen.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is MultiScreen, from your system.
