The Browser Helper Object (BHO) called msxml71.dll is associated with the software Canon BJC-3000, which is a printer grouped under the bubble jet category. Most functions of the software printer can be rooted from this dll file which comes along the installation of the software. This module can be found inside the program files folder of the local drive directory or inside System32 of the Windows folder. File size of msxml71.dll ranges from 200 KB to 220 KB and the file runs at the same time an internet browser starts. This module can influence the process of the user's browser and can run with Windows 7, Vista, XP, 2000, ME, and 98. Though located inside the windows folder, this module is not a core system module, and may be uninstalled without affecting the performance of the operating system.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. msxml71.dll. is used by Canon BJC-3000, If you shut down msxml71.dll, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start.
