What is mskagent.exe
The process mskagent.exe, also known as the McAfee SpamKiller MskAgent Application or McAfee SpamKiller Agent Interface, is an executable program in the McAfee SpamKiller Module. It is loaded during the Windows boot process, and is not a visible program. The main purpose of this module is to protect the inbox from viruses associated with junk email, and to block spam email from reaching the inbox of the user. It scans emails and keeps the inbox clean, and is not considered as an adware or a spyware. The correct location of this file is in the McAfee SpamKiller folder that is located in the computer's hard drive. Malware that camouflage themselves as mskagent.exe are usually located in c:/windows or c:/windows/system32 folder. If such a file is found, it is advisable to scan the computer using an anti-malware program, in order to check if the file is a malware, and to verify the security of the computer.
