The msf.exe process is an executable file that has been reported by many users as a fraud tool used by hackers to access Windows-based computer systems infected with the msf.exe process. Some users claimed that the msf.exe process is implemented with spyware-like functionalities, while others stated that the msf.exe file can search for backdoor system vulnerabilities and exploit Internet network ports, in order to initiate contact with predesignated Web servers, open these network access ports, initialize hacker attacks and activate downloading processes for other malicious applications. The msf.exe process is normally found in the Windows directory of the system partition, according to some user reports, while a few users claimed that the msf.exe process can also be found in the "drivers" folder in the System32 sub directory, which is stored under the Windows directory of the system partition.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. msf.exe. is used by Fraud Tool and Spyware, If you shut down msf.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start.
