The msbb.exe file has been reported by many users as an EXE component process of the nCase Web3000 software, which is also known as the Search Assistant program and is flagged by the same user reports as a spyware application called MSBB Web3000. The msbb.exe process and the nCase Web3000 spyware are distributed by 180Solutions.Com as part of their adware applications, and some users claimed that the msbb.exe process along with the other resource files and libraries of the nCase Web3000 spyware are included in the installer distributions of some third party programs as bundled adware applications. The same users reported that the msbb.exe process, upon its successful installation and activation in the Windows-based system, can automatically initialize during system startup because of keys and entries this malicious program can create and insert into the Windows System Registry. These users also state that the msbb.exe process can covertly operate in the background during system runtime, in order to collect Internet surfing information and other private user details from the default Web browser of the infected Windows system.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. msbb.exe. is used by nCase Web3000 and Search Assistant, If you shut down msbb.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop msbb.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is nCase Web3000 and Search Assistant, from your system.
