MSA.exe is a component of the MS Antivirus software. MS Antivirus is different from Microsoft Anti-Virus. The former does not belong to Microsoft and is a fake antivirus software. It pronounces that it can delete viruses found in a computer using the Microsoft Windows system. Then it tricks the computer user to buy the full version of the software. The msa.exe file initializes and allows the MS Antivirus to become active. The software will then produce pop-up messages informing the user that his or her computer is infected with a virus. It will perform a false scan on the computer and will give the user a fake virus status report. Then it will convince the user to purchase the software in order to delete the so-called viruses. Whatever the user do to exit the application, the download box will still open. The messages will constantly show up unless the user makes a purchase.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. msa.exe. is used by MS Antivirus, If you shut down msa.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop msa.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is MS Antivirus, from your system.
