The process called mraid35x.sys, which is an instance of a driver file, and is a component of the program MegaRAID Miniport Driver for Windows Whistler version 32, or MegaRAID RAID Controller Driver for Windows Vista or Longhorn for x86, which is produced by American Megatrends, or LSI Logic Corporation. MegaRAID RAID Controller Driver for Windows Vista or Longhorn for x86 is installed onto a computer, so the component mraid35x.sys is added onto the system, where it is registered into a Windows registry, and into a Windows Task Scheduler, stores itself on a folder location, which is usually C:\Program Files, and begins to automatically run in the background. The mraid35x.sys file is not just a part of the application, but a module that is digitally signed by Microsoft Windows - VeriSign Time Stamping Services Signer. Also, this file is compatible with a certain version of Microsoft Windows Operating System, which is Windows Vista, otherwise known as Windows Longhorn.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. mraid35x.sys. is used by MegaRAID Miniport Driver for Windows Whistler, If you shut down mraid35x.sys, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop mraid35x.sys, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is MegaRAID Miniport Driver for Windows Whistler, from your system.
