What is  mpm.exe

The process mpm.exe, which is an executable or EXE file type, and is a component of the software product labeled as myPrintMileage or HP Deskjet (version 450 printer) or HP Business Inkjet (version 1000 Series), which is developed by Hewlett-Packard Development Co. LP, also known as HP. The mpm.exe file is essentially a web-based tool that is bundled within the printer series of HP Inkjet and Deskjet, used to help manage printing activities, monitor and analyze printing, as well as keeping track of printer usage information. The mpm.exe file needs to remain running in the background of a computer system, specifically one of the versions of Microsoft Windows operating systems,which include new or later versions, such as Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2003, Windows 2000, Windows NT, and Windows ME.
