What is  mpk64.exe

Many user reports claim that the mpk64.exe process is an EXE program file that is associated with the Refog malware, which is a keylogger program that can be implemented into Windows-based systems without user consent. Other user reports state that the mpk64.exe file is also deployed as a component process of the KGB Keylogger software, which is another malicious application. Both the KGB Keylogger program and the Refog application are known to be integrated with malicious code that can record keyboard inputs, log these recorded details and transmit these collected pieces of data to Web servers that are operated and managed by the authors of these spyware applications. The mpk64.exe process, according to some users, also has the capability to automatically initialize during system startup and operate as a background process during system runtime without user consent, because of the keys and entries the mpk64.exe process can create and insert into the Windows System Registry upon its placement and activation in the Windows-based system.
