What is  more.exe

The more.exe file is an executable process that has been reported by many users to possibly contain malicious functionalities similar to those of a Trojan program. Some user reports claimed that the more.exe process is a variant of the Trojan.Win32.VB.awf application, which is a known malicious program that can search for backdoor system vulnerabilities and exploit it when found, in order to initiate contact with predesignated Web servers and download more malicious programs unto the system. According to some users, the malicious applications that are downloaded by the more.exe process can gather Personally Identifiable Information (PII) among other pieces of data from the system and Internet browsing information from the default Web browser, and these details are transmitted by these malicious applications to predesignated servers on the Internet. User reports also claimed that the more.exe process is activated during system startup and continues to operate in the background of the system during system runtime.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. more.exe. is used by Trojan.Win32.VB.awf, If you shut down more.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop more.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Trojan.Win32.VB.awf, from your system.
