The monitor.event.agent.exe process is specifically integrated into this module in order to assist the iYogi Monitoring Service software in implementing monitoring functionalities for all instances of actively running applications in the Windows-based computer and in other Windows-based clients that are connected to the same network, if any. The monitor.event.agent.exe process is integrated into the system upon the implementation of the iYogi Monitoring Service software and the iYogi EventAgent module, which means the monitor.event.agent.exe process is bundled into installer distribution packages that include the iYogi Monitoring Service software and the iYogi EventAgent applet.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. monitor.event.agent.exe. is used by iYogi Monitoring Service and iYogi EventAgent Module, If you shut down monitor.event.agent.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start.
