The process that the file mobsync.exe is generally linked to is installed on the system when you install Microsoft Windows OS. The process is commonly called Microsoft Synchronization Manager. The file is used by clients to see if their most recent synching activity was successful. This mostly applies to computers that were configured to synchronize data with a network server. The process is helpful if you wish to see your synched files without having to connect to the Internet. The process is part of Microsoft Sync Center. Disabling the file will not cause system errors, because it is not a vital component of the system; even if it was installed by your OS. However, you should only disable the file if you are not using Microsoft’s synchronization program. File installation path is C:\Windows\System 32\mobsync.exe. File size varies, but its average size is 93.5 KB. It has a known RAM usage of 3.25 MB.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. mobsync.exe. is used by Microsoft Synchronization Manager, If you shut down mobsync.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop mobsync.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Microsoft Synchronization Manager, from your system.
