Known by the service name WD Anywhere Backup Client or AutoBackup Client, the process called memeobackup.exe, which is a type of an executable or EXE file, is a component of the program Memeo AutoBackup, also called as AutoBackup, or sometimes WD Anywhere Backup, which is developed by Memeo. Memeo AutoBackup is a software product that is designed to be used as a backup tool for the external hard drive backup of the computer, another PC shared within the network, as well as Memeo iDisk Online Storage, USB storage devices, iPod, and other compatible units. The process memeobackup.exe is not just a module that is bundled within the program, but also a file that is digitally signed (Memeo Inc - VeriSign Time Stamping Services Signer - G2), so it must not be terminated, but rather kept stored and running in the background. This particular file is a Windows process, and is compatible with Microsoft Windows Operating Systems, which include Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows XP, and Windows Vista.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. memeobackup.exe. is used by WD Anywhere Backup or Memeo AutoBackup or AutoBackup, If you shut down memeobackup.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop memeobackup.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is WD Anywhere Backup or Memeo AutoBackup or AutoBackup, from your system.
