What is mdm_util.exe
The mdm_util.exe process is an executable component file of the Modem Helper software, which is an application included in certain Netgear routers and networking devices. The Modem Helper software allows users to check the real time status and configure some settings of the supported Netgear networking device or router. The mdm_util.exe process and the Modem Helper application are packaged with the firmware and driver software components of these compatible Netgear networking devices. This means the mdm_util.exe process and the Modem Helper utility tool work together with the firmware and driver software resources of supported Netgear networking devices in order to fully implement its complete set of functionalities into the Microsoft Windows system. The mdm_util.exe process is activated by the system or associated Netgear firmware and driver software components whenever the user requests for access to the features implemented into the Modem Helper application, and the mdm_util.exe process, upon execution, calls on associated program files and modules in order to load those requested features unto the system.
