The process called mctcidutil.exe, which is a type of an executable or EXE file, is a part of the software TODO. During the installation process of the program TODO, mctcidutil.exe is added onto the computer system, where it registers itself into the Windows registry, stores on a folder location, and automatically run in the background. This file is not just a part of the application, but an essential component because it is digitally signed from Magic Control Technology Corp. - VeriSign Time Stamping Services Signer - G2. Other than that, mctcidutil.exe is an instance of a Windows file, which implies that it works well with Microsoft Windows Operating Systems, including later versions that are popular, such as Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2003, Windows 2000, Windows NT, and Windows ME. Regardless of the Windows operating system or OS used, mctcidutil.exe needs to remain running as a background service.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. mctcidutil.exe. is used by TODO, If you shut down mctcidutil.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop mctcidutil.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is TODO, from your system.
