The mcp.exe process is an executable program file that is integrated into the Mercedes WIS software, which is a Windows program classified as an automotive information management software that was developed with a set of features for providing users with detailed and updated information about various Mercedes cars and the specifications of each model. The mcp.exe process is deployed as one of the executable application resource components of modules that are built into the Mercedes WIS software for implementing its embedded functionalities into widely used versions of Microsoft Windows. The mcp.exe process is integrated into the installer distribution packages of the Mercedes WIS software, which also means the mcp.exe file is placed in the Windows-based system upon the installation of the Mercedes WIS program. The mcp.exe process works with other EXE program and system components, certain SYS driver utilities, some DLL (Dynamic Link Library) modules, specific system and background process items among various resource files and libraries, in order to provide Windows users with the embedded features of the Mercedes WIS software.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. mcp.exe. is used by Mercedes WIS, If you shut down mcp.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop mcp.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Mercedes WIS, from your system.
