MagicISO Virtual CD/DVD Manager, also known as FILE, is the service name of the file magicdisc.exe, and among the components of the program MagicDisc Application, or simply MagicDisc, also Projekt1, which his developed by MagicISO, Inc. MagicDisc Application or MagicDisc is a type of software that creates and manages virtual CD drives, as well as CD and DVD discs, including Blu-ray discs. This software also enables the user to use different types and numbers of CD and DVD images, up to 15 pieces, without the process of burning them into CDs or DVDs, and without computer boot habits. To add that, this program is able to create CDs and DVDs of various file formats, and CD/DVD drives, such as ISO, BIN, IMA or IMG, CIF, NRG, IMG or CCD, MDF or MDS, VCD, VaporCD, P01 or MD1 or XA, VC4 or 000, VDI, C2D, BWI or BWT, CDI, TAO or DAO, and PDI, as well as CD and DVD image making like ISO, BIN or CUE, NRG, and UIF. As a Windows file, magicdisc.exe works with Microsoft Windows Operating Systems, and run in the background during Windows startup, or by manual execution.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. magicdisc.exe. is used by MagicDisc Application, If you shut down magicdisc.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop magicdisc.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is MagicDisc Application, from your system.
