The lxbstime.dll file is stored in the Dynamic Link Library (DLL) format, and this DLL file is used and referenced by some of the program files and modules of the Lexmark Connect application. The lxbstime.dll file and the Lexmark Connect software are bundled with the firmware and driver software resources of compatible Lexmark printing devices, particularly some of the inkjet printer models from Lexmark. With user consent, the Lexmark Connect application was designed to gather operating details from the compatible Lexmark inkjet printing machine, and these details may include average weekly or monthly volume of page printouts completed by the user with the Lexmark inkjet printer, average ink usage and so on. These pieces of data is then securely transmitted via the Internet to Lexmark servers for analysis and processing, and Lexmark International uses these details to better comprehend the needs of their customers, in order to improve their printer devices and other hardware products. The lxbstime.dll file is referenced by the Lexmark Connect application whenever the system or the user requests for access to some associated features of the Lexmark Connect program.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. lxbstime.dll. is used by Lexmark Connect, If you shut down lxbstime.dll, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start.
