LVCom Server is the service name of the file process called lvcoms.exe, which is a component of some video software products created by Logitech, including Logitech ImageStudio, Logitech QuickCam, Labtec WebCam, and Logitech ClickSmart , also UnInstall Envy24 Family Audio, and Pinnacle MPEG Realtime Codec by Labtec. LVCom Server, or lvcoms.exe, is installed within the ImageStudio suite for most QuickCam series of web cameras made by Logitech, that is used to integrate the feeds of camera with video streaming programs, such as Windows Movie Maker, Microsoft NetMeeting, and LiveMeeting, and most especially the ImageStudio application. If a user has to use the web camera on his or her computer, or laptop, or notebook, lvcoms.exe becomes a very useful component, and must not be terminated or stopped, unless it is causing problems that affect the performance and stability of the operating system. That is why lvcoms.exe must be kept stored on the folder location, and continuously run in the background.
