Developed by the Lenovo Group Limited, LPMgr.exe is the process file for Lenovo Productivity Manager, a care point and productivity portal for ThinkVantage Technology. The programis also known as the Lenovo Care or ThinkVantage Productivity Center. ThinkVantage Productivity Center is developed as an entry point for the commonly used ThinkVantage utilities and support-related tools. The user can choose to install components according to needs. Productivity Center guides users to self-help section on ThinkPad systems and making easier the access related technology. Organizers can customize the Productivity Center according to their environment and can include customized Web links and applications, as well as help files. Some ThinkPad models enable users to access the Productivity Center by the ThinkPad blue keyboard button. LPMgr.exe is associated with the identifier name LPManager and is usually located in C:\Progra~1\ThinkV~1\PrdCtr\LPMgr.exe. The Run key is the startup registry key used for automatically launching the application when the user log on to Windows.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. lpmgr.exe. is used by ThinkVantage Productivity Center , If you shut down lpmgr.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop lpmgr.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is ThinkVantage Productivity Center , from your system.
