Lbrtfdc.sys is designed by Toshiba Corporation exclusively for Microsoft Corporation for its Windows-based computers. The Libretto technology is the line of subnotebooks customized by Toshiba to combine functionality and small size, a full Windows PC squeezed into a device no bigger than a pocketbook. Later, in the release of the Libretto 50, Toshiba used the Pentium MMX and Intel Pentium processors. Much recently, when the L series of Libretto was introduced in 2001, Toshiba moved to a new processor, the Transmeta Crusoe, with the model U100 released in 2005 returns to the Intel Pentium processor.
