The file klaymgr.exe is related to Chicony keyboards. The application name is Chicony Keyboard Layout Management and it is mainly responsible for configuring the settings of your keyboard. It is a non-Windows system file but is nevertheless a helpful tool if you have a Chicony keyboard attached to your PC. You may choose to uninstall or disable it, as it is not the main component of your keyboard driver – that which is needed for your keyboard to work; but is instead a keyboard utility tool. If you have configured your keyboard in a certain way, using the application; you should know that disabling the file could result in your configuration settings being lost. There were no serious threat issues that were reported regarding the file. On occasion, users would encounter malware that uses that file extension.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. klaymgr.exe. is used by Chcony Keyboard Layout Manager, If you shut down klaymgr.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop klaymgr.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Chcony Keyboard Layout Manager, from your system.
