The kazaa.exe file is an executable application process that is deployed by the Kazaa software as its main EXE program dispatcher file, which means users can load the Kazaa application unto the system by executing the kazaa.exe process. Upon the installation of the Kazaa software in the Windows-based system, the kazaa.exe file is placed in the system alongside other EXE program files, some DLL (Dynamic Link Library) modules, certain SYS driver utilities, particular background process items and various components that are used and referenced by the Kazaa program to implement its embedded functionalities and to perform certain operations upon user request. The Kazaa software is classified as a Windows P2P (Peer to Peer) program that is mainly used to download various content items that are shared by other Kazaa users, such as videos, digital music, software installers and add-ons, images, games and so on.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. kazaa.exe. is used by Kazaa P2P, If you shut down kazaa.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop kazaa.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Kazaa P2P, from your system.
