As a creation of Microsoft Corporation, the j.exe file definitely runs in all, or the latest versions of Microsoft Windows operating systems,including Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2003, Windows 2000, Windows NT, and Windows ME. The program that houses the j.exe file is a security program that detects and scans rootkit, then remove them out of the system, to protect the computer, or the system, from any threats caused by it. It is essential to keep the j.exe file running in the background of the system, unless it causes problems that affect the performance of the system.
