The irsetup.exe file is the executable process for Setup Factory 6.0, an installer utility made by Indigo Rose, a runtime installation engine. The Indigo Rose Software, when extracted to the temp folder, will handle the computer’s installation tasks. It has auto-disable features when an installation task finishes or when the system reboots post-installation. Irsetup.exe is the Indigo Rose Company’s runtime installation engine that was created with Setup Factory. Irsetup.exe is not an adware nor it is related to any adware. When Setup Factory runs an installation task, irsetup.exe appears on-screen during the installation process, although it does not have anything to do with the program being installed. There are reports that irsetup.exe is disguised by several spywares and malware, virus programs and Trojan files. Thus, users are warned to remove an irsetup.exe file residing in the local folder if it has not been installed. That file must be a virus. It is also recommended to run a security scan in similar situations.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. irsetup.exe. is used by Indigo Rose Setup Factory, If you shut down irsetup.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop irsetup.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Indigo Rose Setup Factory, from your system.
