The iprntctl.exe process is an executable file that is associated with the program files and modules of the Novell iPrint server software, which is a solution for implementing printing requirements and functionalities needed by businesses and companies into their local and remote networks. With a supported Web browser and a client computer that is running on a compatible system, plus access privileges to network resources, the Novell iPrint server software can allow users to instantly print out their documents using remote printing machines and AIO (All-In-One) devices that are connected to the network, anywhere they are. The iprntctl.exe process works together with the other program files and modules of the Novell iPrint server software, in order to implement the set of functionalities and integrated features of the remote printing and machine access capabilities embedded in the Novell iPrint software into the remote and local networks of businesses and companies.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. iprntctl.exe. is used by Novell iPrint, If you shut down iprntctl.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop iprntctl.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Novell iPrint, from your system.
