What is  ipnathlp.dll

The ipnathlp.dll file is a Network Address Translation (NAT) Helper component. Network administrators depend on NAT to travel through network traffic by using a router. These administrators use ipnathlp.dll to allow various hosts on a private network to access the Internet with one public IP address at hand. NAT can prevent system infection. It uses a machine on the local network to start connection to hosts on the other side of the router. This prevents outside hosts from meeting local hosts. This activity also bars worms immediately by enhancing the dependability of local systems. Outside hosts are not allowed to initiate scanning, causing the enhancement of privacy. NAT strengthens firewalls of system protection over the network. Computers make use of the functionalities of the ipnathlp.dll file to be able to gain access to the Internet with only a handful of IP addresses. The IP addresses are controlled by NAT. Network administrators save address space by this process.
