What is  inetsrv.exe

Many users claim that the inetsrv.exe process is a malicious application belonging to the family of worms called Win32/Small!69D0. The same user reports state that the inetsrv.exe process can create registry keys and entries upon its successful integration and activation in a Windows-based system, and upon the insertion of these entries and keys into the Windows System Registry, the inetsrv.exe process has been reported to automatically run during system startup. According to a few users, the inetsrv.exe process is capable of actively operating as a background process without user consent, in order to create copies of itself and place these inetsrv.exe copies in various directories and sub directories of connected data storage device partitions. A few users also reported certain spyware and Trojan-like functionalities of the inetsrv.exe process, such as the ability to initiate contact with Web servers that are most likely operated and managed by its authors in order to download more malicious applications, and the capability of gathering private data and Internet browsing information from the infected system and its default Web browser, in which these collected details have been reported to be uploaded by the inetsrv.exe process to these predesignated remote servers.

How can I stop inetsrv.exe and should I?

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. inetsrv.exe. is used by Win32/Small!69D0 Worm, If you shut down inetsrv.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start.
