The incredimail_install.exe process is the executable dispatcher file that, when executed by the user, initializes the installation process for the IncrediMail software, which is a Windows-based application that is classified as an email management program. The incredimail_install.exe process contains program logic data consisting of sequential lines of commands and application-specific instructions that instructs the system to activate the installer applet for the IncrediMail application. The system then loads other modular system resources in order to allow the installation process for the IncrediMail application to continue upon user consent. During installation, the incredimail_install.exe process unloads other program files and application-specific modules among other resources that are required by the IncrediMail application to be properly installed and for its integrated set of functionalities to also be correctly implemented in the system. These program files and modules are normally stored by the installation process in a new sub directory under the Program Files directory of the system partition, in which the new sub directory is usually named "IncrediMail" by default.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. incredimail_install.exe. is used by IncrediMail, If you shut down incredimail_install.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop incredimail_install.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is IncrediMail, from your system.

Some application require that they have processes running all the time so they can do things such as check for updates or notify you when you get an instant message.
