What is  imjpmig.exe

The imjpmig.exe allows the user to readily enter Asian characters, such as Chinese, Japanese and Korean characters, with the keyboard while making use of the Microsoft Office suite of productivity tools. The imjpmig.exe process is an executable file that automatically starts when the MS Windows operating system is launched. This EXE file is an example of IME (Input Method Editor), which allows the user to input complex symbols and characters, such as Korean, Chinese and Japanese characters with the standard keyboard available. This is made possible when starting a Microsoft Office application, such as, Access, Excel, Word, Outlook, Publisher, PowerPoint, Visio and Project; from there, the user can choose imjpmig.exe from the taskbar and designate the preferred language from its Language Bar, which will enable the user to type into the PC his or her preferred language. The Language Bar is always presented within these programs making its facility convenient. The Microsoft Input Editor enables users who desire to communicate in Chinese, Japanese and Korean without having to buy a different version of Microsoft Office that was made particularly for their language.
