The process imjpdsvr.exe, which is an instance of an executable or EXE file, is known by the service name Microsoft IME (version 2003 Component), and is a component of the program Microsoft IME or Microsoft Global IME, which stands for Input Method Editor, which is developed by Microsoft Corporation. Microsoft IME or Microsoft Global Input Method Editor is an application that enables the use of characters of symbols of other languages, which include Korean, Chinese, Japanese, Arabic, Greek, and Russian. As a Windows digitally signed (Microsoft Corporation - VeriSign Time Stamping Services Signer), the imjpdsvr.exe file is an essential component, that needs to remain running in the background of a computer system. Therefore, the imjpdsvr.exe file runs in versions of Microsoft Windows operating systems,including Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2003, Windows 2000, Windows NT, and Windows ME.
