The file ide.exe, known as Advanced IDE for BlitzBasic software, belongs to software BlitzPlus by Olaka software. This software provides developers with a complete 2D programming solution for the PC. It utilizes a Basic/C hybrid language with its compiler, features more than five hundred commands on its command set. It is capable of creating any type of 2D program with minimal development time and less development issues. The 2D engine used for development is based on pure 2D blitting operation that has the combined benefits of allowing for pixel-perfect graphics and compatibility with all 2D and 3D graphics cards. It is capable of performing thousands of blitting operation per second. The program comes with its own IDE (Integrated Development Editor) that allows users to compile, edit, test, and debug developed programs from all environments. Executable files created from BlitzPlus will run on any Windows 95, NT4, or later compatible issues.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. ide.exe. is used by BlitzPlus, If you shut down ide.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop ide.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is BlitzPlus, from your system.

After uninstalling applications it is a good idea to scan you Windows registry for any left over traces of applications. Registry Reviver by ReviverSoft is a great tool for doing this.

A process usually a part of an installed application such as BlitzPlus, or your operating system that is responsible for running in functions of that application. Some application require that they have processes running all the time so they can do things such as check for updates or notify you when you get an instant message. Some poorly written applications have many processes that run that may not be required and take up valuable processing power within your computer.
