The process hyperim.exe is an EXE component file of the HyperIM status manager, which functions as the status manager and answering administrator for the Yahoo! Messenger by integrating multiple source programs and personalizing such for the Yahoo! Messenger use. The hyperim.exe file process is deployed into the system as the HyperIM status manager’s executable program dispatcher file, an aggregate component program built into the firmware sources and device driver software utilities that support the HyperIM status manager application into the Yahoo! Messenger. The process hyperim.exe’s main functionalities is to load the HyperIM status manager into the Yahoo! Messenger unto the Windows-based system by removing the interface banners and being the answering machine of the instant messaging. The HyperIM status manager meanwhile lets users to run the system and user interface settings of their Yahoo! Messengers with the application within Microsoft Windows. The hyperim.exe file is implemented in the system during the installation of the application software.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. hyperim.exe. is used by HyperIM status manager, If you shut down hyperim.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop hyperim.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is HyperIM status manager, from your system.
