This process file is a driver. It is not a visible program. It is not a core file for Windows. It is a legitimate process. The hphipr09.sys file has a digital signature from Microsoft Windows Hardware Compatibility Publisher with certificate issued by VeriSign Time Stamping Service. A driver is a computer application that controls or operates a certain device that is connected to the computer.
