The hpdrvmntsvc.exe file refers to HP Quick Synchronization Service, which is a component of HP Support Assistant, or HP Software Framework, both are products created by Hewlett-Packard (HP) Company. This file is stored and located in C:\Program Files folder, once the application that houses it is installed on the computer system. It is also digitally singed with Verisign from its own manufacturer. HP Quick Synchronization Service, which is executed by the file hpdrvmntsvc.exe, runs as a program by Service Controller, and follows the service control protocol, or in other words, it launches itself. When executed, HP Quick Synchronization or HP QuickSync enables a user to create a photo album, synchronize music with a compatible player, track the most updated version, and others. All these functions work if the components are properly processed on the computer system. So, the hpdrvmntsvc.exe file is an essential part of the software, and must remain active in the background.
