The Dynamic-Link Library homepageprotection.dll (version 1.0.0.4) is identified as Homepage Protection that is part of the software Homepage Protection that is known to be a Browser Helper Object or BHO as developed by the company AOL Products. The process file is found to be located in the subfolder of C:\Program Files\Common Files in the directory of %COMMONFILES%\Homepage Protection. On Windows 7 or XP, the process file has the file size of 120,104 bytes (90% of all occurrences) or 128,360 bytes. The process file automatically executes upon startup of the Internet Browser. It is not blocked by any firewall since it is being read by them as the browser itself. The process file is also able to observe Internet Browser.
