The hndlrsvc.exe process is an executable file that is included in the other program files and modules of the Intel Alert Management System software, which is an application that is bundled with the firmware and device driver software distributions of certain Intel hardware components and devices. The hndlrsvc.exe file is activated by the Intel Alert Management System software whenever the system or the user requests for certain functionalities that correspond to the hndlrsvc.exe process and its associated program files, modules and applets. Upon execution, the hndlrsvc.exe file calls on other program files, application-specific modules and modular system resources that are required by the Intel Management System to perform the functions requested by the system or the user.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. hndlrsvc.exe. is used by Intel Alert Management System, If you shut down hndlrsvc.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop hndlrsvc.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Intel Alert Management System, from your system.
