The hmonitor.exe file is a process that is part of the application hMonitor by ABSoftware. This process serves as hardware sensor monitoring application. This is also needed when the user overclocks the entire system. This process uses sensor chips integrated on motherboards to monitor the status of the system. It provides information such as CPU temperature, voltages and cooling capacity of fans. The hmonitor.exe warns the user when the system overheats in order to save the system from permanent damage and system instability. An icon represents this process on the system tray for easy access to hard disk information and other parameters. This process also lets the user change the set values of two zones of temperature. It lets you specify the sound files to be used as audible warning. It can also decrease the CPU speed to desired percentage. It also updates the system status.
