The hffext.dll file is a process that is used by the application Hide Files and Folders developed by Softstack.com. This process is not visible. It is not a system process. Hide Files & Folders version 3.5 lets you hide and protect your folders and files, protect any program with a password and disable Internet access. It is a password-protected security tool working at kernel level on Windows. It lets you hide your folders and files to secure them from being searched or viewed. It does not change your media. It uses VXD driver working at kernel level to guarantee that you do not lose data. You can also protect system folders and files such as registry, Windows system and swap files.
