This program uses an icon on the taskbar. It uses a visible window. The hddtemperature.exe file is not a core file for Windows. It can monitor applications and connect to the Internet. HDD Temperature Pro is a software that monitors your hard drive and protects it from overheating. It uses S.M.A.R.T. [Self Monitoring, Analysis and Reporting Technology] that is found in modern hard disk drives to check the temperature of the drives. It lets you set the maximum value for your drive temperature to warn you when it is exceeded. HDD Temperature Pro is an upscale version of HDD Temperature with additional functions such as monitoring several hard drives simultaneously and sending warning messages to the specified computer or E-mail address. It can force an overheated system to hibernate automatically in order to protect unsaved data and hard disk.
