The handlekmsg.exe file is a process with not visible window. It is not a system process. The .exe file extension pertains to an executable program on Symbian, DOS, Microsoft Windows, OS/2 and OpenVMS operating systems. Aside from the executable application, several EXE files have other components known as resources including icons and bitmaps that the executable program uses for its GUI or graphical user interface. An executable file contains a program. This type of file can be run as a application on computer by means of double clicking or a command. An EXE file is program that when executed prompts the operating system to let the program run.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. handlekmsg.exe. is used by handlekmsg.exe, If you shut down handlekmsg.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop handlekmsg.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is handlekmsg.exe, from your system.
