What is  hackit.cmd

The hackit.cmd file is a process that runs when you start Windows. The registry key for the process is HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run. It is not a system process. CMD is the filename extension that CP/M-style executable applications used on Concurrent CP/M-86, CP/M-86, DOS Plus and Concurrent DOS. It matches with EXE in DOS and COM in CP/M-80. Microsoft Windows uses the CMD extension for unrelated batch files. A CMD file in its binary format has a 128-byte header with 1-8 groups of data or code. Each group can have a maximum size of 1MB. CMD file may also have Resident System Extensions and relocation information for later format versions. CMD file extension is related to batch scripts of command processor CMD under Windows NT and OS/2. Binary codes does not run this way that is why running CP/M-86 CMD files on CMD command processor does not work and usually cause inconvenience for uers.

How can I stop hackit.cmd and should I?

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. hackit.cmd. is used by Hackit.cmd, If you shut down hackit.cmd, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start.
