Most reports by end users and anti-virus programs identify the hackhoundserver.exe file as malware. This file no longer exists. It runs when you start Windows. The registry key for the process is HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunServices, HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run. It can monitor programs and record inputs. Malware or malicious software is a program created to steal sensitive or private information, access private systems without the knowledge and consent of the owner or to interrupt the normal operations of the target computer system. It may be in the form of software, scripts, code or active content. It is also known as computer contaminant, intrusive software or hostile software. Malware includes Trojans, viruses, worms, rogue security software, keyloggers, rootkits, adware, spyware, ransomware, dialers and malicious BHOs. It can disguise itself as genuine software through an official Website that offers attractive or promising software with the malware actually embedded in it with a tracking software to gather information such as marketing statistics and user interests.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. hackhoundserver.exe. is used by hackhoundserver.exe, If you shut down hackhoundserver.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop hackhoundserver.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is hackhoundserver.exe, from your system.
