The gwum.exe file is the process that serves as utility manager of the application Gigabyte Windows Utility created by Gigabyte. It is an important component of the Gigabyte motherboard. This process provides significant information about the hardware such as the BIOS, temperature and fan speed. It runs when you load Windows. The registry key for the process is HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Software/Microsoft/Windows/CurrentVersion/Explorer/User Shell Folders. This process can record inputs. The gwum.exe file also ensures the stability of the keyboard. It informs the user if expansion cards need to be cleaned in order to improve the cooling of the parts. It also backs up the system BIOS every time the system undergoes configuration. It requires minimal system resources therefore it is not CPU intensive. The process runs in the background.
